Abu Darda ‘Radhiyallahu ‘anhu said that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said,
ما من شيءٍ أثقل في ميزان المؤمن يوم القيامة من حسن الخلق، وإن الله يبغض الفاحش البذي
“There is nothing heavier in the scales of a believer on the Day of Judgment, than good morals. And indeed Allah hates people who have bad morals, again al-badzii’.” (Narrated by Tirmidhi, and he said, “This hadith is authentic”)
al-Badzii’ is a person who speaks with bad morals and dirty words.
