“Learn all of you, and teach all of you, and respect your teachers, and be kind to those who teach you.” (HR Thabrani).

The Priority of Seeking Knowledge

Apart from that, because knowledge is a valuable thing, you must also know the three virtues of studying. Among them:

• Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala will raise the status of those who have knowledge. This has been explained in the meaning of Surah Al-Mujjadi verse 11, namely “Allah raises those who believe among you and those who are given knowledge to several degrees.”
• Knowledge is the legacy of the prophets and apostles. This is because knowledge is something eternal, while wealth is only ephemeral and impermanent and can run out at any time.
