I036. Muslims can only eat and drink what is halal and good

 

Allah SWT also says in the Koran Surah Al-Baqarah verse 168 that humans should not follow Satan’s steps in consuming forbidden foods.

Because, Allah has provided halal and good food on earth.

يٰٓاَيُّهَا النَّاسُ كُلُوْا مِمَّا فِى الْاَرْضِ حَلٰلًا طَيِّبًا ۖوَّلَا تَتَّبِعُوْا خُطُوٰتِ الشَّيْطٰنِۗ اِنَّهٗ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِيْن

yā ayyuhan-nāsu kulụ mimmā fil-arḍi ḥalālan ṭayyibaw wa lā tattabi’ụ khuṭuwātisy-syaiṭān, innahụ lakum ‘aduwwum mubīn

O people! Eat of the halal and good (food) found on earth, and do not follow the steps of Satan.

Indeed, Satan is a real enemy for you.

Rasulullah SAW said:
“Any servant whose flesh grows from haram (food), hell is more appropriate for him.” (HR. Tirmidhi).
