I021. King Pharaoh and his army drowned in the Red Sea
Pharaoh and his troops died drowning in the Red Sea
King Pharaoh was an Egyptian king who was known to be arrogant.
Pharaoh ruled during the time of Prophet Musa (as) and Prophet Harun (as).
Pharaoh was known to be cruel.
He tortured his people who did not want to submit to him.
Pharaoh claimed to be god.
Pharaoh required his people to worship him as a god.
Allah SWT immediately responded to Pharaoh’s arrogance.
No matter how great Pharaoh was, he was so small compared to the greatness and power of Allah, the Almighty who dominates the universe.
When Pharaoh and his troops chased Musa (a.s.) and his people across the sea.
Allah SWT then drowned Pharaoh and his army into the Red Sea.
Meanwhile, Prophet Musa (a.s.) and his people safely reached land.
Allah SWT is the Most Reigning and Owner and King of all the worlds. So Allah has the name Al Malik, namely maharaja.
“Then Most High is Allah, the True King; There is no God (who has the right to be worshipped) except Him, God (Who Possesses) the noble throne.” (QS. Al Muminun: 116)
