I037. Muslim children diligently drink milk every day
Milk is good, healthy and full of blessings.
The Prophet sallallaahu’alaihi wa sallam recommended drinking milk and he also liked milk.
Milk is also mentioned as a priority by Allah in the Qur’an.
Let’s drink milk!
From Abdullah bin Mas’ud radhiallahu’anhu, from the Prophet sallallaahu’alaihi wa sallam that he said:
“Indeed, Allah ‘Azza Wajalla, when he sent down a disease, certainly also sent down the cure, except for old diseases. Then you should drink cow’s milk, because it is collected from various kinds of plants” (HR. Abu Daud Ath Thayalisi in his Musnad, this hadith is authentic in musnad and mursal. validated by Al Albani in Silsilah Ahadith Sahihah, 2/45-47).
In this hadith the Prophet used shighatul amr (commandment), namely (drink cow’s milk).
Not just the actions of the Prophet.
So this determines the benefits of milk and the recommendation to drink milk.
The Prophet sallallaahu’alaihi wa sallam also liked milk.
He said:
“Three things that should not be rejected if given: pillows, perfume and milk” (HR. At Tirmidhi 2734, dihasan Al Albani in Silsilah Ash Sahihah no. 619).
In a hadith from Abu Hurairah radhiallahu’anhu he said:
“Served to the Prophet on the night of his Isra’, at Iliyya, two glasses consisted of khamr and milk. He looked at the two of them then took the milk. So Jibril said to him, ‘Praise be to Allah who has shown you to nature. If you take khamr, your people will surely go astray” (HR. Bukhari no. 5202, Muslim no. 3758).
Milk also contains blessings.
Among the arguments, milk is mentioned by Allah in His book as a gift that must be grateful for.
Allah Ta’ala says:
“And indeed, in these livestock there really is a lesson for you. We give you drink from what is in his stomach (in the form of) milk that is clean between feces and blood, which is easy to swallow for those who drink it” (QS. An Nahl: 66)
Rasulullah sallallaahu’alaihi wa sallam also said:
“Whoever eats food given by Allah, he should pray: ‘Allahumma baarik lana fiihi (O Allah, bestow blessings on us in this food). And whoever drinks the milk gifted by Allah, he should pray: Allahumma baarik lana fiihi, wa zidna minhu (O Allah, give us blessings in this milk and grant us more from this milk) because I do not know anything that can replace food and drink more than milk” (HR. Abu Daud 3245, Ibnu Majah 3321, authenticated by Al Albani in Sahih Ibni Majah).
So milk is good and healthy and it is recommended to drink milk often. Although for certain people, milk causes problems. But this is very little.
And it is said that health experts disagree as to whether milk is good to drink frequently or not.
Wallahu a’lam, I am more calm in following the proposition.
