Prophet David Against the King of Jalut

At that time, Prophet David (AS) was still 9 years old.

However, it’s amazing.

He was able to defeat King Jalut, his nation’s enemy.

Even though none of the men from the Prophet David’s family were able to defeat the mighty King Jalut.

The little Prophet David when facing King Jalut.

Like a child fighting a giant.

Jalut, an arrogant leader.

He took it for granted when he saw the little Prophet David challenging him.

However, Allah SWT, the Almighty, then gave strength and courage to Prophet David (AS).

Prophet David (AS) only armed with a simple slingshot.

But, thanks to the help of Allah SWT.

Prophet Daud AS succeeded in defeating King Jalut.

Subhan Allah!

Truly extraordinary!

Almighty Allah.

The unconquerable.

Nothing can defeat or weaken Him.

So Allah has the beautiful name Al A’ziiz, namely the Most Mighty.

“O Musa, verily I am Allah, the Most Mighty, the Most Wise.” (Q.S. An Naml: 9)

• The Strong, The Most Esteemed, The Exalted in Might. Al-Aziz (in Arabic: ٱلْعَزِيزُ) is the one who is most powerful and strong. He is the conqueror that is never conquered and never harmed. This is because His strength, glory, and power are overwhelming, and cannot be overcome or resisted. He is the only one with complete mastery over all creation.
• Recitation of this name 41 times after Fajr prayer will make the person independent from others and will earn respect.
• Someone who practices reading Yaa ‘Aziiz. That is, forty times after each morning prayer for forty days. With Allah’s permission, he will not depend on other people. And whoever every day after dawn recites this reading 94 times, God willing, he will be awarded authority.
